The Lakewood Good Samaritan who was nearly killed by a hit and run driver in February has reportedly returned home.

According to the Lakewood Scoop, Chaverim Member Moshe Aron Ben Miriam Zissel was recently released from rehab and told the Scoop that he feels "unbelievably good as can be". He suffered a skull fracture and other injuries when he was struck by and SUV when returning to his car after helping another motorist on the side of the road near the Lakewood High School on February 9th.
The incident, drew outcry from Township officials, law enforcement and the volunteer organization Zissel belonged to. The even offered a reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of the driver who's vehicle was actually spotted by a relative of Zissel's shortly after the reward announcement.
