Andrew Howard, 29, was charged by police Wednesday with four counts of theft. Authorities estimate the value of the looted items at more than $3,000.

The thefts were reported during the week of July 19, police said. Detective Brenden Barnes ascertained that all four homes employed the same pool service company.

With cooperation by company operators, Barnes identified Howard as the suspect. He responded to Brick Police headquarters, was charged, and was released on a summons to await a court appearance.

The investigation remains open. Anyone with information that would add to the probe can reach Barnes at 732-262-4611.
