Information from the Lacey Township Police Department's web page offers an account of a man striding into Mrs. Walker's Ice Cream shop on Route 9 at about 10 PM, closing time, and demanding all the cash in the store from two employees.

The suspect claimed to have a gun in his back pocket, but no weapon was seen, police say.

The workers told police that he stuffed the cash into a pillowcase and warned them that he'd return to kill them if they called authorities. He then ran toward Route 9 from the shop's north entrance, police said.

Investigators seek a black male, about 6'1" tall, with a medium build, estimated to be in his late 20s or early 30s. At the time of the robbery, he was described as wearing a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants, white mask and white gloves.

Authorities are combing surveillance video for a glimpse of the suspect. We will post it when and if any images are released.
