Talk about a tough crowd ... All with badges and licensed to carry. That's who Connecticut funnyman Dave Reilly has been performing for and plans to come to Jackson Township in two weeks to help its local P.B.A. raise money.

Jackson Patrolman Ralph Seda says he became familiar with Reilly's work over a year ago when a friend invited him to a comedy show.

"It was 2 1/2 to 3 hours of laughing uncontrollably. The biggest complaint I had for the night was that my ribs and my neck were killing me from so much laughter."

Seda says months later, Reilly was even able to reduce a crowd at the Hightstown Firehouse to uncontrollable laughter right after Superstorm Sandy.

The Comedy Night takes place February 22nd at the Jackson Mills Volunteer Fire House and a buffet by Sola Bella is included.

Seda says money raised from the Comedy Night go to a number of local charities and community youth events, like the DARE program, Police Athletic League, Wounded Warriors and needy families. "We'd love to say that we had a endless bank account but we don't and in order to help out in your community you have to fund raise and that's a part of what we're doing here."

The event takes place on February 22nd, at the Jackson Mills Volunteer Firehouse, 465 North County Line Road, Jackson N.J., Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Tickets are $50 dollars which includes a buffet by Sola Bella. It's a BYOB event. For tickets call 732-740-6655. For more information go to Facebook under Jackson PBA Soccer.
