A thief robs a Jackson Township gas station by holding a syringe to the attendant's neck, and gets away clean. But not if police can help it, and they hope that you can t you can help them.

Officers arrived at the Sunoco on Monmouth Road at about 9:13 PM on Sunday, May 21. The victim told them that the suspect grabbed him from behind, demanding money while pressing the syringe containing an "unknown substance" against his skin, police said.

The thief is described as a white male, about six feet in height, in his late 20s or early 30s. He was clad in a white, baseball-style cap, dark-colored jacket or sweatshirt, a longer, white shirt with the tails extended beyond the outer garment, and light-colored pants.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
