It’s St. Patrick’s Day at the Jersey Shore! March is the Month of the Irish!

March is right around the corner! If you're a resident of the Jersey Shore, you know Spring isn't the only season that arrives this month. It's also parade season!

It all kicks off Sunday, March 3, with the Belmar-Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Then Ocean County gets their turn, as the Ocean County St. Patrick's Day Parade takes to Seaside Heights on Saturday, March 9. Despite fears about the affects of Hurricane Sandy, the parade WILL go on as scheduled.

St. Patrick's Day itself is Sunday, March 17, but just because the day passes doesn't mean the celebration can't continue. The Irish spirit comes to northeastern Monmouth County for the Highlands St. Patrick's Day Parade and Keyport St. Patrick's Day Parade both take place on Saturday, March 23.

The Snakes, a local band who specializes in Irish rock, folk and traditional tunes has written the perfect anthem, appropriately titled "I Love St. Patrick's Day at the Jersey Shore."
