An evening of comedy to benefit the animals of families affected by Superstorm Sandy ….. “A Lil Bit A Love” is a rescue organization for dogs that have been through rough times and need a second chance at life. They are holding a benefit to help the animals that had been affected during Hurricane Sandy. Everyone is welcome….Saturday, April 6th …. Doors open at 7PM at Toms River East High School. April is National Humor Month and to celebrate, New Jersey based Linda Turash Productions present “Jest Plain Funny” at two Ocean County Library branches.“Jest Plain Funny” is a montage of comedic sketches from a variety of humorists, including legendary playwright Neil Simon, the writers of “The Carol Burnett Show,” and up-and-coming Emmy nominated screenwriter Eric Coble. The show will be at the Berkeley branch (30 Station Road) on Saturday, April 6 at 2 pm and at the Little Egg Harbor branch (290 Mathistown Road) on Wednesday, April 17 at 7 pm.
