Holmdel Woman Leads Kimball Patient Care
Patient care at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood gets new leadership, and she's from right near by. Judy Colorado of Holmdel is the new vice-president of patient care services at the Barnabas Health center.
Judy's tasks include developing, implementing and evaulating the nursing staff's mission, practices and efficiency. She's no stranger to fast-paced, complex organizations.
Prior to joining Kimball, Judy served as executive director of patient care services at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Her 25-year career also includes stints at St. Vincent's Medical Center and the New York University Division of Nursing in Manhattan and Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
Judy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Mary Johnston College of Nursing in Manila, Philippines, and went on to a Master's in hospital and nursing administration at New York University.
She is certified as a nurse executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
