Holiday City Residents Scammed by Bogus Lottery

Berkeley Police are once again issuing a warning to residents about not sending money overseas in hopes a winning a lottery.

Sergeant Jimmy Smith says two Holiday City residents last week were scammed out thousands of dollars. Smith says one man wired as much as $75,000 dollars after receiving a letter from a bogus "U.S. Mega millions lottery."
