Homeruns For Heroes Helping Local Military Families

All season designated military-related charities will get donations when BlueClaw players hit homeruns as part of a joint partnership with the OceanFirst Foundation.

2013 is the fifth year of the program which, through 2012, raised over $100,000 for local military-based charities.

All season designated military-related charities will get donations when BlueClaw players hit homeruns as part of a joint partnership with the Ocean First Foundation.

Ten amazing charities will be rooting on the Lakewood BlueClaws this year hoping they score lots of home runs at First Energy Park. Home Runs for Heroes, now in its sixth year, is our partnership with the Lakewood BlueClaws and 92.7 WOBM, that provides support to our local military heroes and veterans. In the past five seasons, a total of $130,000 has been contributed by OceanFirst Foundation to charities helping military families and veterans going through tough times.
