“The mission of the Jersey Shore Animal Center is to rescue, care for and rehome unwanted, abused, abandoned and sick animals. Our goal is to adopt these special animals to caring and loving forever homes they so richly deserve.” ~ JSAC

There are many animals here at the Jersey Shore that are looking for that “forever home”. In this edition we are setting our sites on the Jersey Shore Animal Center  in Brick.

Meet Sheldon ..... he is 4 1/2 years old and is looking for a nice calm, adult home to relax in. Poor Sheldon was in a home for almost 4 years and recently returned to JSCA for being protective. He walks great on the leash and his new owners should like to walk. He knows quite a few commands, he's a smart boy. Though he can have play dates with other dogs, we feel he would be happiest as the only pet in the home.

For our cat lovers out there we have Tiger...."This 3 1/2 year old boy sadly lost the only home he ever knew. His owner became homeless and had to go into a care facility. He was super scared when he first came in, understandably. With patience from our staff and volunteers he is coming around for attention and affection. Once he knows you he loves to play and be pet. We recommend a quiet home for Tiger with a cat experienced owner, someone with love and patience to give. We know over time he will be a sweet companion and learn to trust again. Tiger gets so sad watching his friends go home, why not him?" ~ Jersey Shore Animal Center
