Ever since the Fall, forecasters have been warning of a wild, snowy winter for the Northeast. While many areas in Ocean County had a dusting this past Saturday night overnight, we're sitting here today, January 7th, and it's around 50 degrees.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not complaining. Especially considering that we're not so far removed from those Winter memories of Ocean County blanketed in a couple feet of snow.

If I'm being honest, it's actually making me a little nervous. Like Mother Nature is winding up to really sock us. Although Mother Nature, if I may address you directly, you already did a pretty good number on us between Sandy and the following snowstorm, so I think I can speak for most of us in Ocean County when I say that a mild, dry winter wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

Oh, and by the way, hard to believe that it's been 17 years today since the 1996 blizzard dropped two feet and more on The Garden State, huh? There's a memory I'm not anxious to relive any time soon!

So what do you think, has this quiet winter been nice? Do you think there's still a big storm on tap for us? Post your predictions below!
