Grizzly Adams May Have Been On To Something

On my trip out West I noticed a lot of facial hair.  I saw many more men with beards and mustaches than I see in this part of the country.  My friend who lives in Oregon says it helps keep the guys warm, but I think it must be more than that.

I read about some research that shows bearded men are perceived to be more masculine and better providers than those who are clean shaven.  Are the hairy guys growing their beards just to attract a mate?  I don't know.

What I DO know is that I prefer the look of a guy who shaves his face.  Sure we've seen some celebrity guys rocking the scruffy look.  And sure, guys like Brad Pitt and Jake Gyllenhall look great whether they've shaved or not.   But my personal preference is for a smooth, not stubbly, face.

Guys, if you like and have facial hair, please share some insights as to why that's your look of choice.  Ladies, does your man have a mustache and/or beard?  What do you like about it?
