Another town hall meeting, another argument for Governor Christie – this time in Spotswood.

During the question and answer part of the meeting, a woman who identified herself as a retired teacher from Millstone Township made a rambling speech – first about how hard she had worked, telling the Governor she stayed late to prepare lessons and spent her own money to purchase school supplies.

She then switched gears and told Christie the state’s Wounded Warrior program – to help veterans injured physically and emotionally – wouldn’t work.

The woman then suggested she could solve the Governor’s “problem”, because she was involved in a specialized dog-training program to help Wounded Warriors.

When Christie began to talk about how Jersey veterans are being helped, he was interrupted on several occasions by the woman – and finally, he had enough – telling her “I sat and listened to you ramble on about 8 different topics and I didn’t once interrupt you – I let you talk about whatever you wanted to talk about, and then when I go to give my answer you continue to interrupt – so you really have to not be so rude! Let me answer the question! That’s what you came here for – if you don’t like the answer get up and leave!…I am not going to engage in a dialogue and a debate with you!”

Christie then praised her service as a teacher, and moved on to the next question.
