JSAS Healthcare is continuing its Opioid Overdose Prevention Project with free Narcan (naloxone) kits and training for families in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

The training is open to anyone who is at risk of an opioid overdose themselves or to people whose family members or friends are at risk.  Participants will receive training on how to administer Narcan, a free Narcan kit, and a voucher for 30 days of free substance abuse treatment.

In Ocean County, workshops are held at the following locations:

  • Ocean Mental Health Services, located at 160 Route 9 in Bayville (Every Monday in August at 6:00pm)
  • Daytop New Jersey, located at 399 Main Street in Manahawkin (Thursday, August 6, 2015, at 6:00pm)

Monmouth County's workshops will be at JSAS Healthcare, located at 685 Neptune Boulevard in Neptune.  Those will be held every Tuesday in August at 3:00pm and every Wednesday in August at 5:00pm.

Space is limited for all sessions and is limited to first-come, first-serve.  Information on future sessions will be available here.
