Retired pro-football player Darian Barnes is back with the Shore Conference in a big way. 34-year-old Barnes, who played 7 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a fullback during a Super Bowl victory year in 2002, will be head coach at Colts Neck High School, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Barnes served as assistant and interim coach at Colts Neck High School before replacing first-year coach Pete Shaw after a lackluster year. He's also a former Toms River North standout.
