UPDATE! Police ID Barnegat Home Raided For Weapons

Barnegat Township Police and Ocean County authorities seize ten weapons from a house after a 53-year-old man made threatening statements on his Facebook page.

The man has been identified as Eric Reuter of Barnegat.

Police say it happened yesterday at a Shoal Drive home. The Ocean County SWAT team responded along with crisis negotiators. 10 homes were evacuated. After several hours, the man was taken into custody unharmed. The man was taken to SOCH for an evaluation.

Reuter has been charged with Obstructing the Administration of Law.
