Convicted Man Planned To Kill Prosecutor

A Little Egg Harbor Man convicted of fatally shooting his neighbor was plotting to kill the prosecutor who tried his case. 

Executive Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Michael Paulhus offered little detail about the plot concocted by Jay Goldberg except to say that Steven Cucci was the only target reports the Star Ledger. Goldberg is now charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Goldberg was convicted earlier this year for aggravated manslaughter and drug charges in the death of  his neighbor, 40-year-old Sarkis Shahinian, during an argument over their marijuana growing operation
