The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre will present the hilarious Broadway musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee this July at the Arts & Community Center (Building #18), Main Campus, Toms River. Performances will be given on Thursday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, July 19 and July 26 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, July 20 and July 27 at 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, July 21 and July 28 at 2:00 p.m. For more information, or to charge tickets, call the Ocean County College Box Office at 732-255-0500 or online at www.ocean.edu

 

The Ocean County Library will once again offer summer volunteer programs and is looking for teen volunteers to help out with its Reading Buddies program. In the Reading Buddies program, a teen volunteer who has finished sixth grade is paired with a younger student in grades one through four. The deadline to volunteer for this program is June 21st. To register, come to the Toms River branch at 101 Washington St. and fill out an application. For more information on the program contact the Young Adult Services Department of the Library at 732-349-6200, extension 5201.
