I was recently discussing traveling with someone and the topic of "souvenirs" came up. I then went on to tell about my souvenir idea. I love traveling and I like to bring a part of the destination back with, literally! I collect rocks.

What I do at each destination, the bigger trips to far away locations, is bring home a small rock and a coin from that country. This way I will always have a piece of that land. I've only been doing this for the last few years, so I don't have that many. Pictured above are pieces of Ireland, Jamaica and Iceland. I think it's a perfect souvenir and it cost me a nickel. It's also small so doesn't take up a bunch of room. I simply take the rock and glue a coin from that country and I have a perfect souvenir!

What kind of souvenir's do YOU collect when you travel?
