‘Don’t Fry Day’ encourages sun safety

As the Memorial Day weekend approaches, the unofficial start to summer is upon us and the American Cancer Society along with the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention is designating this Friday as "Don't Fry Day" to encourage sun safety.

Amtrak ordered to expand speed control system at derail site

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Federal officials announced Saturday that Amtrak must immediately expand its use of a speed restriction system on Philadelphia's northbound rails where a speeding train reached 106 mph, flew off the tracks and crashed, killing eight people.
