Car Hits Point Pleasant Beach Cruiser

An accident in Point Pleasant Beach sends a borough police officer and a woman to the hospital.

The crash happened at the corner of Route 35 north & Forman Avenue last night. It appears the female driver ran a stop sign before crashing into the police cruiser.

The accident closed Route 35 for a time last night.

Both suffered minor injuries. No charges have been filed yet in the incident as police continue their investigation.
