Car downs utility pole on Route 37 in Toms River

A handful of Jersey Central Power and Light customers in Toms River were without power this morning after a car crashed into a utility pole on Route 37 east, near Vaughn Avenue.

Route 37 East is closed between Washington Street and Coolidge Avenue while crews repair the downed pole and wires. Expects delays through the area.
