Bruno Mars Confirmed As Super Bowl Halftime Performer [VIDEO]
Bruno Mars moves from the MetLife Stadium parking lot to the 50-yard-line as The NFL that the 14-time Grammy nominee will be the half time entertainment at Super Bowl XLVIII.
The league made the official announcement before today’s 1:00p.m. games on Fox. He said on Fox NFL Sunday that he “had a few phone calls to make” about the halftime show and promised it would be “good.”
The league says details about the performance will revealed during the season by Fox, the network airing the Super Bowl on February 3 from the Meadowlands.

The Hawaiian born Mars has had a number of solo hits and collaborations in the past few years including “Treasure,” “When I Was Your Man” and “It Will Rain” from the Twilight movies. the performed in 2012 in the parking lot of MetLife Stadium with the Lollapalooza tour.
Many thought that given the location of the first outdoor cold-weather that the show would take on a regional theme with New Jersey’s Bon Jovi or Bruce Springsteen or New York’s Billy Joel or Jay-Z would be selected.
