The Brick Clergy Association is sponsoring the event along with an interfaith group of local clergy, while being run by Stop Hunger Now which is a non-profit world hunger relief organization.

Admission is free for the event but you can make a donation if you wish upon entry by sponsoring one or more of the meals for 29 cents each at the event located at 135 Salmon Street by the intersection of Route 70 and Brick Boulevard.

Officials with the event say you can also bring nonperishable food for a Brick food pantry.

Some of the many local religous communities helping out with the event also include Brick Presbyterian Church, Temple Beth Or, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and Osbornville Baptist Church among others.

If you want to know more about the event or how you can volunteer officials ask you call Reverend John or Judy Anderon at St. Thomas Lutheran Church at 732-477-5533 or Rabbi Robert Rubin at Temple Beth Or at 732-458-4700.
