As lunchtime rolled around in Ocean County, smoke began billowing up through the woods in the Beachwood/Berkeley area on Pinewald Road. Smoke continued to billow in the vicinity well into the evening. We have full coverage below:

In an unprecedented day of fires in New Jersey, blazes broke out in Toms River, Berkeley Township (near Double Trouble State Park), Manchester, Lacey Township and Franklin Township in Gloucester County. This was all in addition to the massive Beachwood blaze. Since around noon today, 45 fire engines, 59 police officers, an airplane, 2 helicopters, and three fire bulldozers have all assisted in battling the Beachwood fire.
