How did you feel when you looked out the window this morning?  Relieved that we got less snow than expected?  Or angry?  I am surprised by the number of negative posts I'm seeing online.  The comments of random people to different broadcast and social media sites are full of outrage and upset today.  A recurring theme is how meteorologists are incompetent and should lose their jobs.  I don't think it's fair to criticize people who do a GREAT job forecasting for almost every other day of the year.  This storm took an unexpected turn.  It happens. Why are people upset that we have LESS snow to shovel?  I want to thank WOBM meteorologist Dan Zarrow and all the other weather folks who did their best to prepare us for what could have been much worse.  Thanks to the forecasts, we were able to gas up the car, buy batteries, bread, milk, and rock salt, right?  Don't you think it's better to be prepared than to be caught off guard?  The complainers can say what they want, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
