Armstrong To Challenge For Ocean County Sheriff

Lt. Colonel George “Bob” Armstrong, USAF (Retired) will announce his candidacy for Ocean County Sheriff on Monday at the Ocean County Courthouse in Toms River.

Armstrong, who ran against William L. Polhemus in 2009, believes he can bring new ideas to the Sheriff’s Department to modernize the office according to a press release.

His experience includes being part of the U.S. Air Force, the FBI and the NJ State Commission of Investigation.
