Armed Robber Holds Up Toms River Exxon

Authorities are searching for an armed robber who held up the Exxon Gas Station on Route 70 in Toms River around 1 am Saturday morning.

No one was injured. Police say the gunman entered the store section of the gas station brandishing a gun and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect then fled on foot.

The gunman was wearing a dark colored bandana over his face and is described as a white man, standing about six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap with a white front panel that contained a dark colored logo. He also had on a dark colored long sleeve shirt with white lettering on the front, dark parts and footwear.
