We've suffered indignities at the hands of bloggers before, remember when a website named Toms River one of the most boring places in New Jersey? Well now, one of our local communities is being singled out as one of the worst in New Jersey.

The website Roadsnacks.com, which seems to exist for the sole purpose of bringing communities down, has put together a list of "The 10 Worst Places To Live In New Jersey".

We're talking places like Newark, Irvington, and Orange.

Oh yeah, and Berkeley Township.

Wait, what?

Yup, they're lumping Berkeley Township in with some of the highest crime areas in the state.

But wait, neither Jersey City or Paterson, two of the three highest crime cities in New Jersey, are on the list.

But Berkeley Township is. You know, the township that you drive through and see sports fields, parks, and schools. Scary, huh?

So why did it make the list? The writers of the list say that Berkeley, "struggles in the economic category". Which is kind of ironic when paired with the photo that they chose to use - a nice street in the township with pleasant looking houses and, gasp, even a house with a boat in the driveway!

Economic struggles, indeed!

So what do you think, does Berkeley deserve to be on the list of the worst in the state? Comment below and chime in!
