Administrative Professionals’ Day
Administrative Professionals’ Day is a good day to say, “thanks for all you do to keep the workplace running smoothly.” Think about how your office operates. Who handles all the phone calls, scheduling, copying, filing, coffee making, and reception duties? It’s nice that support staff get recognized during Administrative Professionals’ Week. Thankfully it’s no longer called Secretaries’ Week, because job duties have expanded to include Administrative Assistants, Office Coordinators, Administrative Specialists, Executive Assistants, and Office Managers.
So on this day, I thought I’d share some quotes about gratitude.
“No one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another. Thank you.” — Joseph Addison
“Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.” — Voltaire
“Appreciate everything your associates do for the business. Nothing else can quite substitute for a few well-chosen, well-timed, sincere words of praise. They’re absolutely free and worth a fortune.” — Sam Walton
