Join Shawn, Sue and The WOBM Hometown Crew at Shawn and Sue’s Egg-Stravaganza at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities including the Easter Egg Hunt, egg coloring, facepainting, photos with the Easter Bunny, caricature drawing and more.
The Ocean County Library presents Atlantic City historian, author and NJ Superior Court Judge Nelson Johnson in a special program about his book, “Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times and Corruption of Atlantic City.” The program will be held at Pinelands Regional High School, 565 Nugentown Rd., Little Egg Harbor, Saturday March 23 at 10 a.m. The book traces the growth and allure of Atlantic City from its birth as a quiet seaside health resort, through the notorious backroom politics and power struggles, to its rebirth as the entertainment and gambling capitol. Copies of “Boardwalk Empire” will be available for purchase.
