The Southern Regional Home/School Association’s major fundraiser is set for Saturday, February 9th .  Their annual Gift Auction will be held in the Southern Regional Middle School cafeteria.  The doors will open at 5:00 pm.  Admission is $5.00 and includes one ticket sheet.   Donations are still being accepted.  For more information Call ..609-597-4579.  All proceeds for this event will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors.

From February 25 through March 1, Ocean County College will host the 2013 Drepung Gomang Monastery Sacred Arts Tour.  All events are free and open to the public.  No pre-registration is needed. Events will be held in the Solar Lounge, College Center (Building #15) on the OCC Main Campus, College Drive, Toms River. The Ocean County Library will present actor and author Noah Lewis in his portrayal of Edward “Ned” Hector, a black Revolutionary War soldier, in four library locations during February.
