841 Bags of Heroin Seized in Toms River Warrant Raid
An investigation into heroin activity in the Bellcrest section of Toms River (adjacent to Fischer Boulevard) that began in
early February, leads to a warrant raid on a Hancock Road residence. 21-year-old Kyle Munroe and a female juvenile were taken into custody Thursday. Police also seized 841 bags of suspected heroin, anti-anxiety meds and nearly $8-thousand dollars in cash.
Monroe is charged with possession of a controlled substance, intent to distribute over one half ounce of heroin that has a street value of $8,000, possession of Alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $20-thousand dollars bail. The juvenile was also processed and released.
