41st Annual Festival of the Sea in Point Pleasant Beach Saturday

This Saturday will be a seafood lover's dream come true. It's the 41st Annual "Festival of the Sea" in Point Pleasant Beach. The event will be held downtown on both Arnold and Bay Avenues. Local restaurants and vendors provide favorites like crab cakes, shrimp skewers, paella, soups and bisques, lobster, and other seafood items.

The "Festival of the Sea" is sponsored by the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce. The event is Saturday, September 15th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

According to the Chamber Facebook page, the festival begins in the shopping district between Rt. 35 South and Rt. 35 North and goes all the way down to the Point Pleasant Boro border.
