3 Hurt In Wall Crash; Driver Faces DWI Charge
Authorities say three people were injured after an alleged drunk driver crashed into their car in Wall this weekend.
Wall police tell the Asbury Park Press that 33-year-old Paul Hough of Lawrence faces various charges, including three counts of assault by auto. Hough was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Route 138 when the crash occurred around 7:20 a.m. Saturday.
The driver of the other car, identified only as a 45-year-old Newark man, and two passengers in that vehicle had to be extricated and taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. Further details on their conditions were not disclosed.
A phone number listed for Hough’s home had been disconnected Sunday, and it was not known if he had retained a lawyer.
