Twenty suspects are charged, and one of them has yet to be found, in connection with a lengthy probe of drug activity in southern Ocean County.

Operation Southern Shield, involving the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office and police in Lacey, Ocean, Barnegat and Stafford Townships, focused on heroin, marijuana and prescription medication transactions between March and mid-June of this year.

According to information from the office of County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato, four search warrants executed in Lacey and Barnegat yielded 1,500 dosages of heroin, 112 Oxycodone tablets, Xanax, crack cocaine, marijuana, $3,700 and a 2006 Dodge Charger registered to one of the suspects.

Investigators searched houses on Clairmore Road and Harzold Road in Lacey Township, and Perrywinkle Road in Barnegat.

The suspect at large, James Hallock, 38, with no known address, is charged with distribution and possession of heroin. Upon capture, his bail is $75,000, with no option for release on payment of 10 percent.

Michael Araneo II, 23, and Alyssa Everett, 24, of Lacey Township, are charged with possession of heroin, Oxycodone and Xanax, possession with intent to distribute heroin, Oxycodone and Xanax, and heroin distribution. Bail for each is $100,000, with no option for release on payment of 10 percent.

Michael Araneo, 57, Jonathan Locilento, 44, and Casey Sinopoli, 21, all of Lacey, are charged with possession and distribution of heroin and possession with intent to distribute heroin. Bail for each is $75,000, with no 10-percent payment option.

Nicholas Picone, 29, of Lakewood, and Marguerit Tyger, 30, of Waretown (Ocean Township), are charged with possession and distribution of heroin and possession with intent to distribute. Bail for each is $50,000, with no 10-percent payment option.

Paul Brennan, 53, of Lacey, is charged with distribution, and possession with intent to distribute, Oxycontin/Oxycodone. His bail is $50,000, with no 10-percent payment option, and his car was impounded.

Ivory Lewis, 24, and Tiemear Lewis, 25, of Trenton, are charged with possession and distribution of heroin and possession with intent to distribute. Bail for each is $40,000, with no 10-percent payment option.

Kevin Kronberger, 25, of Waretown (Ocean Township), is charged with possession and distribution of heroin and possession with intent to distribute. Bail is $30,000, with no 10-percent payment option.

Thomas Malone, 35, of Stafford, is charged with distribution, and possession with intent to distribute, Oxycodone. Bail is $30,000, with no 10-percent payment option.

Francis Jarczynski, 32, of Waretown (Ocean Township), is charged with possession and distributino of heroin and possession with intent to distribute. Bail is $25,000, with no 10-percent payment option.

Donna Frate, 40, of Barnegat, is charged with distribution, and possession with intent to distribute, Oxycodone. Bail is $10,000, with no 10-percent payment option. She reportedly was employed as a dispatcher in the Stafford Police Department at the time.

Peter Frate, 33, of Barnegat, and Mark Jung, 56, of Waretown (Ocean Township) are charged with conspiracy to distribute Oxycodone. Bail is $5,000, with an option for release on payment of 10 percent.

Released on their own recognizance are: Thomas Rickmers Jr., 26, of Lacey, charged with distribution and possession of Xanax, and possession with intent to distribute; Joseph Sinopoli, 23, of Lacey, charged with possession and distribution of heroin, and possession with intent to distribute; and Sara Cervera, 20, of Barnegat, charged with distribution and possession of marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute.
