Why Won’t You Get E-ZPass?

I did a LOT of driving over the weekend.  A funeral in Pennsylvania and a wedding in North Jersey had me going through multiple toll plazas.  At each and every one I was reminded how long the lines can be when one doesn't have E-ZPass.  It's no longer peak summer season for Shore traffic yet the lines were quite long.

I'm always curious why everyone doesn't switch to E-ZPass.   It generally makes a trip go faster, and is one less thing to worry about on the roads.

Are you one of the holdouts?  If you don't have a transponder, I'd love to know your reasoning.  Would you ever consider getting E-ZPass?  Why or why not?   Please share in the Comments below.
