Teams That Have Big Fan Bases In New Jersey:

• Philadelphia Eagles (NFL)

Well first let's say that New Jersey has an interesting sports fan base because we have numerous teams that are not actually in the state but have big fan bases here in Jersey. Our only "New Jersey" team is the NHL Devils. The Giants, Jets, and Redbulls play in New Jersey but still go by the "New York" name.

Possibly the best team currently for Jersey fans is the Philadelphia Eagles. The New York Rangers are the top local team in the NHL and the 76ers are the top local team in the NBA. The Philadelphia Phillies would be tops in MLB based on last season. The New York Liberty did make it to the WNBA finals last season, so they have to be up at the top of the list based on performance. Even though the Eagles have struggled the last few weeks, I would have to say the Eagles are the best "local" professional team for Jersey fans among the Big 6 sports leagues.
