Where Are You Seeing Fall Colors?

As I was driving in to work this morning, I noticed something about the trees on the Parkway. They're changing, but they don't seem to be changing like usual.

Instead of the vibrant yellows, oranges, and reds that we usually get, it all seemed to be a rather brown color pallette.

I don't know if it's due to rainfall (or lack thereof so far), temperature, or maybe I'm just jumping the gun and the colors haven't developed yet.

But, for comparison, this is a photo that I took in 2013 of bright, colorful fall colors:

Quite a difference compared to the decidedly drab foliage that I spotted earlier today.
