If there's one thing we have plenty of in New Jersey, it's urban legends. Many of which are centered here in Ocean County. Of all the stories, what are your favorites?

Of course, right here in the Pine Barrens area, we have the birthplace of The Jersey Devil (no, not the NHL team). The origins of the devil child of Mother Leeds, from Galloway Township, go back nearly 300 years.

In more modern times, there's the legend of The Parkway Phantom, a ghostly entity that is said to wave down passing vehicles right around exit 82 of the Garden State Parkway.

And of course there are plenty of haunted houses, old graveyards, and tragic accidents to keep storytellers busy for generations.
