With temperatures over the next few days approaching the 90s, and heat indexes even getting close to 100, it's going to get uncomfortable for a couple of days. But, if you ask me, the dog days of summer are still not as bad as the dead of winter.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of stifling heat and wilting humidity, it's just that I hate that less than I hate bone chilling cold.

In my opinion, when it's so cold that layering only helps so much, it's practically inescapable. But when the heat and humidity is unbearable, at least you can get away to the air conditioning.

Sure you can turn on the heat in the winter, but it's those those moments where you have to go out in the cold to get from one place to the other that make it worse.

Again, I'm not a fan of either, but if I had to choose the worse of the two, it's the cold that's unbearable to me!
