I am not having a great day today.

My car inspection is up at the end of the month, so I stopped by the Toms River inspection station to get it taken care of. My "check engine" light has been on for a little while, and I know that it's because of my fuel injectors. I expected that I would probably not pass inspection.

My thinking was - it's better to have 30 days to get the problem fixed and get re-inspected than to be overdue on inspection or, worse, get pulled over for expired inspection.

So I went out, failed as I figured I would, and started making plans to fix the issue.

And then I went to go for lunch - wouldn't you know, my "check engine" light isn't on anymore. I couldn't believe it.

I had put a can of fuel injector cleaner in my tank a few days ago, figuring that I would give it a couple of days to work its way through the system. Well apparently it did, two hours later than I needed it to.

Suffice to say, I'm just a little frustrated right now.
