Hit The Brakes! Avoiding Making These Grave Mistakes On New Jersey Roads
It takes a special kind of person to be able to drive in New Jersey.
There has to be an even mixture of, "I don't give a crap," "What are you looking at?" and "Do you even know how to drive?"
It is dog eat dog on our roads, I'll tell ya that.
I do people who try to avoid our chaotic highways like the plague! There is no way to do this all the time in New Jersey without quadrupling the time your drive takes.
The Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike both hold a special place in my heart because I love and hate them.
Plus, we have more jug handles, left-hand only turns and round abouts than drivers!!!
A majority of the drivers you will encounter can get so angry behind the wheel. It makes the road rage I've encountered in other states look like a day on the playground.
I've also witnessed people stopping mid-sentence to curse out an idiotic driver.
"Yeah, like he has reached out but I am not sure I want to see him ag...."
*Road Rage Mode Activated*
"WHAT IN THE F**K ARE YOU DOING?! DO YOU NOT SEE THE DOUBLE LINE! DID I WEAR MY INVISIBLE UNDERWEAR TODAY!!!"
*Road Rage Mode Deactivated*
....yea, so I just am not sure I want to see him again."
Verbatim.
The point is that we all have that one thing, that one pet peeve that sends us off the guardrails.
