Last night's Super Bowl spectacle brought something for everyone to the table - a great sports competition and a flashy pop performance. So what did you think, was Katy Perry's performance a good fit for the biggest sporting event in America?

The TV ratings hit an all time high for last night's game, and, if you ask me, the NFL made a very shrewd move by bringing pop princess Katy Perry in for the halftime spectacle.

It was actually a really smart move - you have the sports game that appeals to the football fans, and you have the halftime show, which might not necessarily be the sports fans' cup of tea, but the non-sports fans who may have been watching by default because their significant others dragged them to a party, had something to enjoy with the sugar-pop mid-game show.
