Howell Police Sgt. Eileen Dodd tells the Patch of Howell the three men covered their heads and faces to hide their identity. One man is described as being close to six feet tall with a medium build, a third is reportedly 5-5 with a medium build and the third is between 5-8 and 6-0 with a heavy or stocky build.

However, reports say there's some indication the residents knew their attackers and were themselves once connected to a drug trafficking ring.
