Turtle gets verbal warning after holding up traffic in Long Branch
It's not why did the turtle cross the road, but how.
'Snappy' the turtle (not the actual name) needed to be escorted across the street on Friday July 6 in the Elberon section of Long Branch by Corporal Thomas Hueston because he was holding up traffic.
The turtle didn't receive any tickets but got a stern verbal warning from police before he was let go.
It's not known if the turtle was speed walking or out for a casual stroll.
