If you're a frequent Garden State Parkway traveler, officials are putting out the heads up that one of Ocean County's busiest Parkway ramps will be closing ahead of this weekend.

The Toms River Township Office of Emergency Management sent out an alert this morning (Thursday, October 17th) to let the public know that the southbound Parkway entrance ramp on Lakehurst Road will close on Friday (October 18th) at 8 p.m.

The closure is expected to last through Friday night and Saturday with the ramp scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. on Sunday the 20th.

It's all part of the Parkway crossing project that Suez Water has been working on for a good part of the fall.
