An important update is out today from the Toms River Office of Emergency Management in regards to the previously announced Garden State Parkway entrance ramp work on Lakehurst Road in Toms River.

Yesterday, we shared the announcement from TROEM that said that the Garden State Parkway south on-ramp at Lakehurst Road would be closed from tonight (Friday, October 18th) at 8 p.m. until Sunday (October 20th) at 5 a.m.

This morning, they sent out an alert stating that the closure is cancelled until further notice.

As you've probably seen, Suez Water has been working on a project at the Lakehurst Road on-ramp for quite some time, but for now the ramp closure is being postponed.
