Traffic Alert – Parkway Exit 90 Closed Overnight

Heads up Ocean County drivers - this week, your evening commute or night time errands may be impacted by the ongoing Garden State Parkway work.

Exit 90 will be closed overnights this week, from 7pm until 5am, while the work continues.

Thankfully, with the new Exit 89 interchange now open in Brick, the detour won't take you too far out of your way if you're headed to Brick or Lakewood and would normally take Exit 90.

Of course, if you miss the signs and don't get off on Exit 89, you'll be stuck for another 8 miles until Exit 98.

It is an inconvenience, but when all of this Parkway work is done, getting around Ocean County both Northbound and Southbound on the Garden State Parkway should be a breeze.
